Ongoing project: Anime for Beginners

Hi everybody,

We are working on a project that we call Anime for Beginners. The first video is up on our youtube-channel. It will be a series of videos where we try to recommend anime to people who haven’t watched anime before, or watch very little anime, but are curious to watch more. If you don’t know what to watch or where to look it can be hard find anime that you like, so we are just trying to help.

During autumn I had several friends who made comments on anime, telling me that they were curious but had no idea where to start. I had a personal guide when I began watching anime that helped me out and I’m so glad for it because I love anime now. That’s why I decided that I wanted to help, so that more people can have the experience. It started with me watching a ton of anime, a lot of things I did like and some things i didn’t like. I pulled a few all nighters, because some anime was worth it.

We divided the videos into different categories and almost all of the videos are filmed, and now Michelle is trying to edit oul my “eeh’s” and “so’s”. With all the japanese names there are many of them. So we’ll just keep our fingers crossed that she’ll still like me when this is over.
